5 Cool Spots in Bali for Sunset Drinks
Whether it’s for cocktails or beers, the crimson skies setting on Bali’s horizon are best enjoyed with a nice cooling beverage, at a great location accompanied with family and friends. And with so many places to choose from, we compiled five of our favorite sunset spots to tickle your fancy. Cheers!
1. Potato Head Beach Club, Jalan Petitenget
Chic and stylish, Potato Head is well known for its cool decor and infinity pool facing the ocean. And if you enjoy experimenting, let the mixologist surprise you with their selection of cocktails at the bar while you enjoy the cool breeze from the ocean. While they generally don’t have a dress code, make sure you don’t show up in clothing with alcohol advertising or you won’t be able to get in!
2. La Plancha Beach Bar and Restaurant, Seminyak
If you’re fine to get your toes in the sand, enjoy your sunset under a colorful umbrella with a nice cool beer on a comfy bean bag at La Plancha. Accompanied by a resident DJ playing old skool Hip Hop and Ambient music, this cute beach bar is perfect for cocktails and conversations with friends.
3. Old Man’s, Canggu
Looking for some good vibes and live music? Take a twenty minute drive up to Canggu and check out the scene at Old Man’s. Located by popular surfing spot Batu Bolong beach, this restaurant and bar has featured local and international singers such as Dustin Thomas and Made J and serves pretty good bites to snack on.
4. Single Fin, Blue Point
Perched on a cliff facing the Blue Point surf break in the Bukit Peninsular is surf shop, bar and restaurant Single Fin. Popular among pro surfers, the place can get pretty busy on Wednesdays and Sundays with their live music and DJs. While we definitely recommend the place on those days, it’s also nice just to head up there and enjoy the place on quiet days as you won’t be struggling to get a good view of the spectacular surf break.
5. El Kabron Restaurant & Beach Club, Pecatu
Another option up in the Bukit peninsular is definitely the breathtaking view at Spanish restaurant and beach club El Kabron. With plenty of mediterranean influence in the menu and decor, you’d almost feel like you’re not in Bali until you gaze into the familiar view of the Impossibles surf break! With yummy tapas to share and frozen margaritas to sip on, we definitely think El Kabron is perfect for a sunset drink!
